Jazz Band Performance Evaluation

Jazz Band Performance Evaluation is a GMEA sponsored event where students are evaluated on their jazz performance.  This is the most important jazz band performance of the year - our "Jazz Band End-of-Grade Test".

Students perform for a panel of three judges and an audience of family, friends, and peers from other bands.  The judges provide insightful comments and an overall grade
(I = Superior, II = Excellent, III = Good, IV = Fair, V = Poor).

An important part of Jazz Band Performance Evaluation is watching other bands.  Depending on our assigned time, we will watch bands either before warm-up or after we perform.
